Rio de Oro’s leader program is an international volunteer camp on the Adriatic coast. Volunteers from all over the world live with the Sahrawi children in a school.

The association, which was born from Rio de Oro Onlus, hosts Sahrawi children in Italian families during the month of July and, during the month of August hosts them in an special facility. The project is held in the beautiful setting of Capo di Leuca, in Salento.

The association was born from a group of volunteers from Sardegna that, after taking part during 2007 in one of Rio de Oro’s project, decided to found another association. The hosting progeam during the summer takes place just some kilometres away from the beautiful sea of Sardinia.
